Happening on 16 December 2021, the festive drive is accompanied by an online auction featuring a signed racquet from Roger Federer.
There are Christmas films, feasts and now, Christmas on wheels. The most wonderful time of the year calls for lively cheer taking place on home soil. More specifically, around Orchard Road – but this time round, it isn’t for shopping.
On 16 December 2021, Millionaireasia, in collaboration with Classic Car Club Singapore, are organising a festive ride along Orchard Road. And it’s all for a good cause; to raise awareness and funds for Dementia Singapore. The occasion will host 10 beneficiaries and partners, with Orchard Road’s annual Christmas light-up further enlivening the atmosphere of the evening. Each participating beneficiary will get the opportunity to ride a classic car, with all 15 cars driven by the members of Classic Car Club Singapore. Nostalgic models hitting the road include the Mercedes 300SL R107, Austin Healey Sprite, Alfa Spider and 220 SE Cabriolet.
Those who are keen to contribute to this initiative may take part in an accompanying online auction hosted by Gala Bid from now until 22 December 2021. Exclusive items and experiences going under the hammer include two rides from Singapore Sidecars (S$180), Millionaireasia Club Esteem Membership (S$4,800), a kid electric Fiat Abarth toy car (S$750) by JSD Corporation, two Chocolate in a Bottle (S$98 each), and a one-night stay in a City View Deluxe Room at Andaz inclusive of breakfast for two guests (S$400). Memorabilia enthusiasts – with the fastest fingers – can even snag a signed racquet from Roger Federer and signed photo of David Bowie.
Joining the thrills and spills of the occasion are event partners Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, Grand Hyatt Singapore and PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay. Guests will walk away with festive goodie bags, and each participating beneficiary will also be gifted an LDSY neuro soundwave headset (worth $650).
All proceeds from the auction to Dementia Singapore will be presented via a cheque after 22 December 2021. Place your bid here.
