With over two decades of experience in sales, management, and business, Peter Tan spearheaded the largest insurances sales force in Singapore and mentored successful individuals hailing from various industries. In 2020, he decided to pursue his life aspirations which aligned with the motto, “Live to Inspire, Inspire to Live”, and focused on giving back to the insurance industry. Following months of preparation, Peter emerged as a Master Trainer who created and structured various programmes to benefit the insurance industry in an unprecedented fashion.

As a Business Coach, Peter Tan would be able to refine business strategies with his knowledge and perceptive business acumen. He currently owns more than ten companies diversified across various industries across Asia.

As chairman of PTO Holdings, Peter Tan upholds a sense of corporate responsibility where employees are instilled with the values – Live, Trust, and Respect as part of the PTO culture. He describes that love can be demonstrated as simply as managers ensuring that their subordinates have eaten before taking their share when food is being served. Trust and openness amongst staff are required in order to maintain confidentiality and the belief that employees would not attempt to overturn managerial decisions. Lastly, he expects that employees respect and trust in his business decisions. He stresses that employees’ respect and confidence that he has the company’s best interests at heart is key to achieving the desired results.
